Currently on a tour of North America, Portland based Pyramid
(previously known as Starfucker) are gearing up to release their debut
UK single and play their first every European shows this November.
Forthcoming single 'Medicine' will be released on November 30th through
DDD and is taken from the band's 'Jupiter' EP. A little psychedelic, a
little punk disco, a lot of charm and very dancefloor friendly make
this more than a noteworthy debut. What began in Portland as a solo
project of Josh Hodges and his overflow of ideas, he soon began
collaborating with friends and fellow musicians Ryan Biomstad, Shawn
Glassford and Keil Corcoran. Each of the band with their manyunique
talents and impressive stage presence, helped to make Pyramid what it
is today - a tight-knit four-piece who brilliantly mould electronics
and incredible musicianship into other-worldly, very hooky pop tracks.
As a result, the band has been selling out shows accross North America
on their past several tours there.
