De jeunes recrues sont formées pour aller combattre au Viêtnam. Leur instructeur est tué par l'un d'eux qui se donne la mort. Sur le terrain, après une longue attente, des soldats sont tués au cours d'une mission par un tueur isolé qui est finalement abattu. C'est une adolescente.
