Russian Cosmos – this can be said about "bylina", a folk epic song where the endless succession of generations and the living connection with the godlike ancestors of Russians are realized. Europe was able to preserve their eposes and make them known. Scottish and Irish ballads have become popular with Russian folk music lovers. But Russian "bylina", the keeper of memory about our people’s heroic past, remains forgotten. The musical language of the album in the context of world music allows the ancient Russian epic song to come back to life and acquire a new sound. And the psaltery and church bells used in the recording amaze you by the kinship of their play.

Egor Strelnikov and Mitya Kuznetsov are two Russian top folk musicians well-known in their homeland and abroad both collaborated for creation and re-birth of ancient Russian music. This is the second joint album. The first one (Over The Seas) with old Russian spiritual verse, carols, wedding songs and ancient parables had a great success among folk music-lovers in Russia.
