The time is again upon us for the years biggest security conference event Black Hat Vegas, USA. The folks at Black Hat have prepared a stellar week of great trainings and cutting edge briefings.

The BackTrack Development Team has prepared an extra special treat especially for Black Hat attendees. As you may have noticed on our BackTrack Roadmap the end of July puts us in time for an R1 release of BackTrack 4.
There have been so many new additions and enhancements to this edition it will prove to be a very exciting release.
* A New kernel (2.6.34)
* Massively improved hardware support
* Support for new wireless drivers
* Official FluxBox Support
* A battery of new tools added
* Some additional surprises
Offensive Security, the BackTrack Dev Team and the great folks at Black Hat have joined forces to have a ONE DAY only, special release of BackTrack 4 R1 Black Hat Edition. We will slip some lucky attendees a DVD copy in their bags, but for the rest of you, run over to our table on Wednesday July 28th from 10am to 5pm to get your DVD. This is till we run out of them The public release or BT4 R1 will be a few days later.
