The trip to Tahiti is arduous and for most of the men, they discover a paradise
there. As difficult as it is, they leave Tahiti but the men, led by the ship's
second in command, Fletcher Christian, mutiny casting Captain Bligh adrift
with those few who remain loyal. The mutineers return to Tahiti and resume
their idyllic life but soon find that Bligh has survived and is giving chase.
Capturing some of them, Bligh returns to England with some of the mutineer's
who face trial while Christian and the remainder find refuge on an isolated
island.

the name of protecting public morale and information which is brought to
Zola's attention by Mme. Dreyfus. Initially not wanting to get involved, Zola
decides to reignite his social consciousness by defending Dreyfus in the court
of public opinion, at the risk of his own personal standing and safety.

Plot Original : During World War II, Europeans who
were fleeing from the Germans, sought refuge in America. But to get there
they would first have to go Casablanca and once they get there, they have to
obtain exit visas which are not very easy to come by. Now the hottest spot in
all of Casablanca is Rick's Cafe which is operated by Rick Blaine, an American
expatriate, who for some reason can't return there, and he is also extremely
cynical. Now it seems that two German couriers were killed and the
documents they were carrying were taken. Now one of Rick's regulars, Ugarte
entrusts to him some letters of transit, which he intends to sell but before he
does he is arrested for killing the couriers. Captain Renault, the Chief of
Police, who is neutral in his political views, informs Rick that Victor Laszlo,
the European Resistance leader, is in Casablanca and will do anything to get
an exit visa but Renault has been told by Major Strasser of the Gestapo, to
keep Laszlo in Casablanca. Laszlo goes to Rick's to meet Ugarte, because he
was the one Ugarte was going to sell the letters to. But since Ugarte was
arrested he has to find another way. Accompanying him is Ilsa Lund, who
knew Rick when he was in Paris, and when they meet some of Rick's old
wounds reopen. It is obvious that Rick's stone heart was because of her
leaving him. And when they learn that Rick has the letters, he refuses to give
them to him, because he doesn't stick his neck out for anyone.

with an escaped German flyer who makes his way to her home while husband
Clem helps evacuate the trapped British Expeditionary Force from Dunkirk.
Vin and Carol are married but their time together is to be short. Throughout it
all, everyone displays strength of character in the face of tragedy and
destruction.

once was. Fred Derry was an Air Force Officer and Bombardier but realizes on
his return that he has no marketable skills and finds himself in his old job at
the pharmacy working as a soda jerk. He also finds that he had married in
haste and that his wife, whom he'd only known for a few weeks when they
married during his flight training, isn't quite as enamored with him now that
he's out of uniform. Lastly, there is Homer Parrish who lost both of his hands
in a shipboard fire. He's become quite adept at using the prosthetics the Navy
has provided him but resents the pity he sees in others eyes. He had hoped to
marry his childhood sweetheart but is no longer sure he can burden her with
his own physical limitations. All three men become fast friends and with Fred
Derry's marriage falling apart, he finds himself falling in love with Al's
daughter, Peggy. In the end, all three finds ways to move forward with their
lives.

who is recruited by a national magazine to write a series of articles on
anti-Semitism in America. He's not too keen on the series, mostly because
he's not sure how to tackle the subject. Then it dawns on him: if he was to
pretend to all and sundry that he was Jewish, he could then experience the
degree of racism and prejudice that exists and write his story from that
perspective. It takes little time for him to experience bigotry. He soon learns
the liberal-minded firm he works for doesn't hire Jews and that his own
secretary changed her name and kept the fact that she is Jewish a secret from
everyone. Green soon finds that he won't be invited to certain parties, that he
cannot stay in so-called 'restricted' hotels and that his own son is called
names in the street. His anger at the way he is treated also affects his
relationship with Kathy Lacy, his publisher's niece and the person who
suggested the series in the first place.
