Chess torrents are pretty rare! This is my first one. I don't know how many chess lovers are here! Depending on the response to this one, I may post more of chess in future.
Chess Mate is India's longest running monthly chess magazine in English. It is the brainchild of India's first Intenational Master Manuel Aaron who is its honorary editor now. He was the editor of Chess India (the official magazine of All India Chess Federation AICF) for a few years. The he launched Chess Mate in August 1982. First issue came out in Jan 1983. This is its 27th year and latest Aug 09 issue is the 320th!
Each magazine is a 32 page booklet that gives news & games from Indian & international chess events. Also included are articles on opening theory, middle game tactics, endgame, problems etc. Published in the 3rd week of every month.
I have scanned all this year's issues & converted them to PDF. Full page ads are deleted which account for the missing pages.
