One day he found a guitar and learned how to play it. After some time words came to his mind so he decided to sing them. Simultaneously. He now owns several guitars. That is why he has also written a lot of songs. Together with his band he played these songs in more than 750 concerts for lots of people in Europe and the US. Since 1994 he has released six studio albums and one live 2CD-set. Hank Shizzoe lives in Berne. This album was recorded with his touring band Loose Gravel, with 23 track set features new versions of the best songs from his previously released studio albums, plus one never before released tune and three cover songs. A very special guest guitar, Sonny Landreth, flew from his native Louisiana to Europe to record this material. The performance was recorded at "Muehle Hunzigen," Rubigen/Bern, Switzerland in Sept. 2002.
