This series from writer Mark Waid is the mirror image of his ongoing Irredeemable series, published early last year also by BOOM! Studios. Both stories share the same universe. In Irredemable, the world's greatest superhero known as the Putonian descends into madness and becomes the greatest villain the world has ever known. In Incorruptible, Max Damage, considered as probably the most dangerous criminal in the world, has a change of heart and, with his female sidekick Jailbait (literally), turns his back on crime and on his former cronies to form new alliances. From the introduction in the first issue alone, we definitely know Max Damage and the Plutonian are going to crash headlong into each other sometime in the future. Gritty and violent.
