The Fabulous Johnny Cash was Cash's first record for Columbia after leaving Sun Records. It's also one of his best albums. This original pressing is in excellent condition, and sounds different (better, to me) than any CD version I've heard. No Dolby or any other noise reduction on this one!

This record looks to be in NM condition, the first track was a little gritty, but cleaned up nicely, and the rest of it sounded surprisingly good, considering it's age. I've heard several CD versions of these tunes (Bear Family boxset, Time Life set) and they sound great, but all sound like they have some noise reduction used. This one obviously doesn't, and is a little brighter with more presence than the CDs. This is how it sounded when originally issued.

The files are single channel (mono), I decided to share this way since I have limited bandwidth and it uploads faster, and downloads faster too.
