There are so many true stories about Vietnamese Boat People who risking their lives to escape from their country and seeking for new life and freedom. This movie is one of them even it can not tell the whole thing but there is something inside the movie are so REAL... because i was a boat people and i knew....

About the Plot:In 1975, a South Vietnamese man (Long Nguyen) stays in his country at the end of the civil war and is taken prisoner in a Communist re-education camp while his wife, son and mother get on a boat heading for America. Years later, the lonely prisoner finally hears that his family has made it safely across the Pacific and plots to escape and join them.
