Mother Gong is a spin-off of GONG (no surprise regarding the name), founded by Gilli Smyth and Hari Williamson. They produced a couple of excellent albums, most notably the outstanding "Fairy Tales", the "Robot Woman" trilogy (at least the first 2 parts) and "Wild Child". Guy Evans of VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR was drummer for them on the first 2 parts of the "Robot Woman" trilogy. They continued making music in the spirit of the original GONG. This is an Out of Print Album and very difficult to track down.
