Nicola Costa talks about his rock and blues CD, Electric Roots is the first album I've released as a solo artist. It's an all-original and instrumental guitar record featuring some of the finest musicians in Italy! The ten tracks comprising Electric Roots include a mix ranging from blues to rock to electric jazz. Electric Roots was recorded in Rome and mastered in Los Angels by Joe Gastwirt. Joe Romagnola at the Grooveyard adds, Nicola Costa is an outstanding, world-class player who stands tall with the best of them. The bluesy-fusion direction/vibe grooves hard and his liquid organic tones are authentic and pure. The heavy Michael Landau inspiration on Little Boy Blues shines deep. Costa and his people did a excellent job on the rather superb Electric Roots disc.
