The week long special is to inform people about the importance of sharks. Discovery Channel also seeks to dispel myths relating to them. There are nearly 400 species of sharks across the globe. Sharks are becoming threatened. They are hunted for their fins and get trapped by fishing nets.This week Discovery Channel will strive to educate humans about the importance of these misunderstood and often reviled creatures. All the episodes have already aired but only.
