A man survives what appears to be a lethal auto accident–and keeps coming back for more! When our duo begins investigating the man who would not die, the trail leads to the Neoteric Research Unit, a top-secret (naturally) government facility where "radios are strictly prohibited." There, Steed meets the facility's director, Professor Stone–the man who would not die! The facility has been working on creating "duplicates," robots that look exactly like people. Professor Stone had elected to make the first duplicate in his own likeness. Trouble is, which is which?
