This album coincided with the height of War's popularity, although various tracks are almost as popular today as the day they came out, such as "Low Rider" and the title track. They carried on beautifully throughout the early seventies, and between groups like War and the Tower of Power, the edgier side of funk/rock/soul/boogie/jazz was well represented.

About a month ago, I was putting files in order on the hard drive I keep my lossless audiophile files on, and came across six albums by War from this series that I couldn't remember. Even now, I don't remember where or when I got these. I did searches on all the sites I frequent and found nothing, so it may have been quite some time ago (the logfiles are dated early 2006).
